About

Psychoanalysis is a process of understanding how our present experiences are shaped by our past. These past experiences are often out of our awarness, but maintain a force over our thinking, feeling, and decision making. Unlike short-term therapies that mainly focus on symptoms and employing educational strategies to patch up problem areas, psychoanalysis offers a way to understand the origins of our symptoms in a deeper and more personal way; ultimately resulting in a mastery over our symptoms and problem areas.

Mission

Early experiences of self-and-others become templates for subsequent relationships. These templates impact our thinking, feeling, behaviors, and perceptions. Through a collaborative attitude and the provision of a consistent and reliable framework to discuss one’s innermost thoughts and feelings, one can gain the capacity to tolerate disruptive emotional states, make better decisions, and experience themselves in new and profound ways.

Vision

An effective therapy will often be known by the client through experiencing greater satisfactions in daily living.
